Francesco Legrenzi was born in 1977 in a little valley near Bergamo (Italy). After the graduation in engineering, he worked for three years as structural engineer. His real passion soon arose: he changed from the work for which he had studied to become a graphic designer.
Through the years he specialized in organic modellation, industrial design and architecture rendering, deepening animation techniques, rigging and 2D softwares.
This passion for graphic arts turned him away from the only technical studies, inclining him towards the new 3D techniques studies and developement.
In 2008 he produces the first handbook in the world for VRay: the well-known “VRay 1.5: The Complete Guide”. This birth rises from the real necessity of many italian users to having a volume containing a full description of this wonderful program. Thus, after two laborious years, finally this project saw the light.
Currently he is the Chief of the Modelling and Lighting Department in an architectural firm in Milan.
